In 1996, a fire destroyed the old Tasting Room & Gift Shop and a portion of the facilities used for wine storage. A beautiful new Tasting Room & Gift Shop emerged from the flames-La Fenice (the phoenix) Tasting Room & Gift Gallery. A portion of the original building still stands where large storage tanks hold 270,000 gallons of wine for ageing.

The La Fenice Tasting Room & Gift Gallery is an elegant place for your guests to relax, with its Italian-Mediterranean architecture featuring gold and terra cotta walls, tiled floors, and redwood wine bars for tasting our fine wines. The Gift Gallery specializes in tapestries, hand painted glassware and wine glasses, Italian pottery, clocks, wrought-iron wine racks, handmade candles and other wine related items.
